Regenerating Soil Health In Bristol

Generation Soil CIC is a Bristol-based social enterprise transforming local food waste into living compost that nourishes people, plants, and the planet.

Through our Bristol Living Compost Project, we collect food scraps from homes, schools, and businesses, ferment them with beneficial microbes, and turn them into nutrient-rich compost that feeds community gardens, allotments, and food forests across the city.

Our mission is simple: close the loop between what we eat and what we grow. By keeping food waste local, we cut carbon emissions, regenerate Bristol’s urban soils, and reconnect people to the natural cycles that sustain life.
